New, compact projector/reflector hybrid LED headlights and a repositioned ram air intake accompanied by prominent winglets contribute to the Ninja® ZX™-10R motorcycle’s new look. Along with the styling changes to the front end, the fairings have also been completely revamped to continue the dynamic and aggressive supersport styling of the Ninja family legacy.

Kawasaki engineers fine-tuned the chassis geometry to fully capitalize on the enhanced aerodynamics package to improve high-speed control, cornering performance, and overall track potential.

Valve train inspired by Kawasaki’s WorldSBK engineers is an example of top-level racing technology. Finger-follower valve actuation enables a higher rev limit and more aggressive cam profiles—both contributing to high-rpm performance.

47mm electronic throttle valves (ETV) and 32-bit ECU operate with great precision to provide smooth engine response.

The titanium alloy exhaust system is heat resistant, lightweight, and positioned to create a low center of gravity for effective mass centralization and light handling.

Showa's advanced 43mm Balance Free Fork (BFF) brings state-of-the-art WorldSBK racing suspension technology to the Ninja® ZX™-10R motorcycle. The horizontal back-link rear suspension—featuring a compact and lightweight Showa Balance Free Rear Cushion (BFRC) lite shock—provides superb comfort and sport performance.

To maximize the effects of the new aerodynamic winglets, suspension updates include reduced fork height with optimized damping settings, revised rear suspension linkage components and spring rate, and raised swingarm pivot position.

On the Ninja® ZX™-10RR motorcycle, a hard titanium coating on the outer surface of the fork’s inner tubes reduces sliding friction contributing to a smoother ride. The rear suspension spring preload and damping settings have also been further fine-tuned from the ZX-10R model.

The Ninja® ZX™-10R supersport motorcycle offers exceptional ergonomics. The wide handlebar and relatively high footpegs offer an aggressive riding position, while the low-profile seat-design helps riders minimize drag on straightaways when tucked behind the taller windshield. The limited-production Ninja® ZX™-10RR comes as a track-focused single-seat model.

Front Brembo brakes feature a pair of massive 330mm semi-floating discs that deliver superb braking force and brake feel. The high-performance brake system features dual high-spec Brembo M50 monobloc calipers. On the Ninja® ZX™-10RR, race-quality steel-braided brake lines deliver next-level braking performance.

Equipped with Bridgestone's sportiest street tires, the BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12, developed specifically for the Ninja® ZX™-10R. The ZX™-10RR is fitted with the WorldSBK-inspired Pirelli Diablo™ Supercorsa SP V3 tires.

Technology within the instrument panel lets you connect to the motorcycle wirelessly. Using RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE^†, several instrument functions can be accessed allowing you to view vehicle info, riding log, phone notifications, display settings, set riding modes, turn-by-turn navigation, and voice commands.

The 3-mode system is designed to help racers optimize acceleration from a stop. Kawasaki Launch Control Mode (KLCM) manages engine output to minimize wheelspin and front wheel lift off the starting line.

Kawasaki Engine Brake Control (KEBC) allows riders to set engine braking according to preference while the electronic cruise control allows a desired speed to be maintained with the simple press of a button.

The dual-direction Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) system facilitates acceleration by allowing clutchless upshifts and downshifts while on the track. Designed for more effective sport riding, KQS can also be used on the street when the engine is above 2,500 rpm.

The Ninja® ZX™-10R motorcycle has 3 power modes (Full/Middle/Low), allowing you to set power delivery to suit conditions and/or preference.

Hybrid predictive/feedback-type evolution of the highly sophisticated Sport-Kawasaki TRaction Control (S-KTRC) system helps racers maximize acceleration. Racers can choose from 5 modes for a greater sense of connection across different track conditions and riding preferences.

Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS) is a supersport-grade, high-precision, multi-sensing ABS brake assistance system that uses high-precision control to modulate brake pressure during sport riding.

Input from the IMU enables Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF), assisting riders in holding their intended line through corners on the track.

A race-quality, adjustable Öhlins steering damper with twin-tube design provides stable damping performance even under racing conditions and enable superb kickback absorption. Initial motion is very smooth due to the damper’s high precision construction and use of an integrated clamp to help minimize friction as the damper piston slides back and forth.

Integrated riding modes link Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) and Power Modes to offer varying traction control and power delivery settings to suit different riding conditions. Sport mode enables sporty riding for tracks or back roads. Road mode covers a wide range of typical riding situations. Rain mode delivers reassurance over wet road surfaces. Four available rider modes (manual) offer custom combinations to better suit preferences.
